This mixed media art work allowed me to showcase my love for texture and nature. Inspired and completely taken by the wabi-Sabi interior design style, I wanted to create a piece of art that seeks to remind others to give themselves their flowers, to give themselves grace for how far they have come. Even when things aren’t going right, the artist seeks to remind the viewer that life is ever changing, just like nature. The gold accents within this art work seeks to remind the viewer of their ability to weather any storm & that they decide their level of immortality in this life. Gold does not tarnish, it can stand the test of time & so can you.
